Patricia Delgado, DNP is the founder of Sunrise Skin & Wellness in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the president of Sunrise NPPA Derm, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education and advocacy for dermatology nurse practitioners and PAs. She also serves as lead faculty for the Florida Atlantic University Dermatology NP Post-Graduate Certificate Program. Her current research explores how addressing trauma through both traditional and emerging therapeutic models can improve inflammatory skin disease outcomes and overall well-being. Patricia also works with K2 Medical Research as a sub-investigator on psychiatric and Alzheimer’s studies, and is a lead session monitor for their psychedelic studies. She is the host of The Skin & Psych Podcast Video Series produced by Dermatology Times and Psychiatric Times, and is passionate about building the bridge between dermatology and mental health.
